Each of the seven suites at the lodge boasts a unique and individually decorated design, representing different regions in Namibia. Within each suite, you’ll find a cozy lounge area complete with a fireplace and a dining room for intimate private dining experiences. Expansive glass doors lead to spacious decks where you can unwind on a shaded daybed, savour al fresco lunches, or, if you opt for a premium suite, take a refreshing dip in your own private plunge pool. The comforts are simply luxurious, making it difficult to depart: luxuriate in an extra-length bed adorned with crisp, pure-cotton linen, or treat yourself to a soothing bubble bath in a free-standing tub with sweeping views of the surrounding mountains.
Hidden away on Impalila Island at the eastern end of Namibia’s Caprivi Strip, close to the borders with Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe, as well as The Victoria Falls, Ichingo Chobe River Lodge is the perfect spot to end an adventure through the Caprivi, but the easy access also combines really well with a safari in Botswana and a visit to the Victoria Falls.
