Why We Love Tanzania

Connections

Accessing Tanzania is straightforward, direct flights from Amsterdam to Kilimanjaro International Airport fly daily, and there are numerous Middle Eastern options to consider. It is also easy to link Southern Africa with Tanzania via a number of low-cost regional airlines and scheduled services. Flying is the most efficient way of getting about, but it is expensive. Alternatively, many areas of the north can be accessed by 4×4 on a private journey.

Location

Tanzania’s location means it is easy to combine Tanzania luxury safaris and beach holidays into the same trip. Blessed with the Serengeti National Park, The Ngorongoro Crater, Mount Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar, there is no mystery as to why Tanzania’s tourism industry has boomed in recent years. It is possible to visit these iconic areas but in the blink of an eye to step completely off the beaten track.

Safari Options

With the variety of National Parks throughout Tanzania, you can easily combine driving, horseback or walking Safaris into one holiday. For example, you could combine Katavi National Park with hiking in the Mahale Mountains for the best wild chimpanzee encounter on Earth. The Great Wildebeest Migration spends all year working its way through the Serengeti ecosystem in search of grazing, so there is no time of the year when a visit to the Serengeti National Park can’t put you in a front-row seat for Africa’s most impressive wildlife spectacle.

Have a read of our advice on when is best to visit the Serengeti National Park. Of course, you can always call our experts for inspiration and advice on the best time for luxury Tanzania safaris.

World Class

Tanzania is a favourite destination of the True Travel team, we love the world class wildlife experiences combined with iconic locations and landscapes – Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park, Mount Kilimanjaro – this is a blockbuster of a safari destination!

Macarena & Ariel

We had an amazing honeymoon trip in Tanzania – we really enjoyed every moment and cannot wait to be back! The TLT team is really willing to create the perfect trip customized to your needs. All the partners they had in Africa were top quality and we did not have any problems. The team members have been in the places they recommend so it is easier to choose the perfect place for your holiday. Thank you very much for all the work all the way to the end of our trip, and hopefully next year we can plan another trip with you guys.
