Hand-crafted Travel to Morocco

Morocco is a country of beautiful contrasts. In Marrakech’s vibrant souk, hand-pick your own ingredients and join a private cooking course. The Atlas Mountains work perfectly in combination, with the beautiful scenery perfect for hiking and relaxing in luxury fortress hotels. Get a taste for the desert whilst camel riding along Afagay’s lunar-like rocky terrain or private dining under the stars in the Sahara. Essaouira’s unusual and quirky coastal town is the perfect escape from the heat of the desert, dotted with galleries and kitesurfers, whilst the medina and donkey carts of Fez feel like a time warp.

Morocco Hotspots

From the bustling souks of Marrakech to the historic medinas of Fes, Morocco’s cities are rich in culture and tradition. The Sahara Desert offers stunning dunes and starry nights, while the Atlas Mountains provide breathtaking hikes and Berber villages. Discover Morocco’s diverse landscapes and vibrant heritage.

Marrakech

From the moment you arrive in Marrakesh, predictability and all sense of direction is lost. Start your day at action-packed Djemaa el-Fna and head north into Marrakesh’s maze of souks, where Berber tribes once traded slaves, gold, ivory and leather. Today, tourists scour people-packed alleys for carpet bargains and babouches. If you look carefully, you’ll also spot a number of creative new boutiques and galleries. They signify the evolving face of the medina as a new generation of craftsmen and artists try to connect the city’s hankering for modernity with its traditional craft heritage.

Atlas Mountains

The region is characterised by endless winding passes cut into the green valleys, mud-built Berber villages and dramatic rugged landscapes. It is a haven for hikers of all levels from spring through to autumn, but for many services the purpose of a relaxing mountain retreat amid an otherwise jam-packed Moroccan itinerary.
