Ancient Wonders

Get lost at sunrise in the maze-like UNESCO World Heritage Site of Angkor Wat, or admire the complex from above in a hot air balloon. Hop on a traditional wooden boat to explore the extraordinary floating villages of Tonle Sap, Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake and a UNESCO listed biosphere reserve. Trek further afield to the Kulen Mountains to discover the delicately carved elephant temples of Sras Damrei.

Coastal Life

Head to the southwest of Cambodia for unspoiled beaches. Kep is a tiny coastal province in Southern Cambodia known for its oceanfront seafood stalls and spice estates – with a hidden reputation as a glamorous, low-key 1950s seaside getaway. For the most exclusive and remote beaches, travel to the private island of Song Saa, where you can spend a morning snorkelling around the vibrant tropical reef before an afternoon exercising mindfulness with a healthy dose of yoga and meditation.

Scenic Adventures

Much of Cambodia’s beautiful surroundings can be captured on a journey down the Mekong River, the longest in Southeast Asia. Experience river life at its finest aboard a luxury vessel that will take you from one end of the country to the other, exposing endless rice fields, traditional floating fishing villages and elusive wildlife along the way. Spend your days trekking through the dense jungle that covers the Cardamom Mountains, getting up close to elephants. Then relax on the finest riverboat in Asia, enjoying the views from the top deck plunge pool and treating your tastebuds with seasonal menus from an award-winning chef.

History and Heritage

Capital city Phnom Penh is also the country’s cultural hub; dip in and out of local markets as you make your way through the colonial-style streets. No trip to Cambodia is complete without a glimpse at Phnom Penh’s eye-opening museums and the fascinating historical sites of the Killing Fields, paying tribute to the country’s turbulent past.

Sue & Michelle

I thought Cambodia was all about Angkor, but Katie told me about her recent trip, and before we knew it we were drinking cocktails in Phnom Penh at the Raffles bar, cruising down the Mekong, exploring lost jungle temples and then Six Senses Krabey was perfect for the end of the trip. Thank you again Katie, Molly and team TLT, that was one of the best!
