Adrenaline Adventures

New Zealand is an adventurer’s paradise. Extreme thrillseekers will enjoy jet boating in the Bay of Islands, skiing in Queenstown and whitewater rafting down the rapids of the Mohaka River Gorge in Hawkes Bay. More leisurely activities include hiking the Tongariro Crossing, sailing across Lake Taupo, and awe-inspiring helicopter rides over the active volcano, White Island.

Picture-Perfect Scenery

The remarkable landscape and peaceful nature that makes up New Zealand is like no other. Milford Sounds, a fusion of towering peaks and cascading waterfalls in the Fiordlands, is best traversed by boat. Slice through the glass-like surface of Lake Wanaka in a canoe and admire the golden beaches of the Abel Tasman National Park as you walk along the coastal track. The mesmerising glaciers in the Southern Alps can be accessed by a scenic helicopter ride, while the wondrous Waitomo Glowworm Caves are best seen from the water.

World-Class Wineries

New Zealand’s lodges house the highest quality chefs, whose focus is on local produce, from the kiwi and apple orchards to lamb and venison, always complemented by some of the world’s best wine. Marlborough is the largest wine region in New Zealand, boasting over 4,000 hectares of luscious green vineyards nestled among mountains. It is a must for those with a taste for the finer things in life, who will find plenty to savour in the many world-class wine cellars, cafĆ©s and restaurants. The beautiful setting of the Hawke’s Bay wineries can be explored by bike, or opt for a private guided tour around the Central Otago wine region, famed for its Pinot Noir.

Perfect for Exploration

New Zealand can be navigated by horseback, helicopter, foot, bus, boat and car (to name a few). However, we will always recommend driving between places; not only is it incredibly safe, but it gives you the flexibility to stop and explore well-signed walking tracks, enjoy picnics in scenic spots, and capture some of New Zealand’s jaw-dropping scenery.

Lesley & Harry

We had such a wonderful holiday. Katie put together a brilliant itinerary, which we tweaked a little in places, and the accommodation she chose was first class. She gave us great recommendations of activities and the whole trip went smoothly. Timings worked well between destinations because she had good knowledge of New Zealand, and the driving distances, car changes, ferry crossings, meeting points for activities were all easily achievable.
