Bhutan Hotspots

Paro

Paro is a historic town in the Paro district of Bhutan. The Paro Chhu valley is the only place in Bhutan with wide enough flood plains, to allow international flights to land. This picturesque valley is covered in rice fields, with a glacial river snaking through the middle, all under the towering snow topped peaks of the Himalayas. The landing into Paro is spectacular and the airport is just as beautiful.
