The True Travel Foundation was founded in 2016 with one clear mission: to use funds we raise in the most economical way possible to make a tangible difference to specific charitable projects around the world. For 2022, we are continuing our focus on two projects; one in South Luangwa, Zambia and the other in Jaipur, India.
This year, we are immensely proud to announce our most recent partnership with Seawilding, a marine restoration project based on the west coast of Scotland.
We have marked this partnership with a starting donation of £25,000 together with Weatherbys Bank. This donation will fund the training of four divers, which will enable the team to accelerate their Seagrass Restoration Programme and reach the goal of replanting 80 hectares of seagrass across Loch Craignish.
This partnership marks the beginning of a monumental shift in how people choose to travel. We are genuinely optimistic about the potential it harbours and are eternally grateful to Seawilding for their continuous work and commitment. We encourage all our clients, partners and friends to join us in the support of such a groundbreaking initiative. To learn more about why this partnership is so important, read on below.
