Stay in a traditional oasis in the heart of Marrakech before travelling to the Ouarzazate Province.
Start your dream vacation at the Villa Des Orangers – an authentic riad at the foot in the heart of the Medina. This five star luxury retreat provides the perfect oasis to explore Marrakesh, located in between the Royal Palace and bustling Jemaa El Fnaa Square. Set out on a private walking tour of the Medina to explore the Ochre City and enjoy a private shopping experience through the mesmerising souks. Find Moroccan treasures like spices, essential oils and carpets before wandering through the beautiful botanical Majorelle Gardens in the Yves Saint Laurent Museum with VIP tickets. In the evenings, cool off in one of the three courtyard pools in the Villa Des Orangers, surrounded by the sweet scent of orange blossoms, or unwind in the traditional Hamman at the Nuxe Spa.
Stay in the secluded Dar Ahlam in southern Morocco on the edge of the Sahara desert, for an ‘off the beaten track’ experience.
Discover a secluded oasis in a traditional Kasbah on the edge of the Sahara Desert. The Dar Ahlam is a 200 year old rammed earth Kasbah located in the Skoura Palm Grove, surrounded by almond trees and with views overlooking the Atlas Mountains. For the first half of your stay, visit the outstanding Kasbah Amridil. This 17th century marvel embodies the ancient traditions of Southern Kasbal life and was even used in the Hollywood movie Lawrence of Arabia. Alternatively, discover the surrounding region by mountain bike, trekking or horse riding. We recommend visiting the pomegranate filled Valley of Roses, whose fragrant flowers are harvested by local women from the months of April to May.
Sleep on the edges of the Sahara Desert on a transformed ancient salt lake for a true Moroccan experience.
Spend one night in Dar Ahlam Nomadic Camp in the dunes of the Iriki – an ancient salt lake transformed into an incredible sandscape. Climb to the top of a honey coloured dune to watch the spectacular sunset with a sundowner in hand over the Sahara Desert. Enjoy a campfire dinner with Berber dishes surrounded by glowing lanterns, before falling asleep in a luxury tent with vintage decor under a star filled sky. Wake up for a freshly prepared breakfast, poised atop a sand dune to watch the spectacular morning ritual of the northern African sun rising.
Return to the Dar Ahlam for a day exploring the region’s incredible heritage sites, before your trip to Kasbah Tamadot.
Head back to the Dar Ahlam to cool off in its beautiful almond tree shaded pool. In the afternoon, visit the world famous UNESCO World Heritage Site Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou on the banks of the Ounila River. Located in the Ouarzazate Province, this traditional pre-saharan habitat is a prime example of South Moroccan architecture, with its organic red earthy buildings and decorated battle towers. Spend the evening unwinding in Dar Ahlam’s traditional Hamman or candle lit massage rooms before a gourmet meal in the Kasbah’s gardens, designed by Parisian landscaper Louis Benech.
Spend three nights in a magical retreat at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, discovering local Berber Culture.
Finish your Moroccon adventure in luxury at the Kasbah Tamadot – an authentically styled boutique property set in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. The Kasbah has peaceful courtyards and landscaped gardens as well as a huge variety of onsite entertainment facilities, making it the perfect place to unwind for a few nights. Activities include travelling by mule through the region, learning authentic Berber recipes and picking from off road hikes for panoramic views of Jebel Toubkal – the highest peak in North Africa. Enjoy a round of golf at a nearby course, before settling in for a home cooked feast on the Kasbah’s roof terrace with unparalleled views of the Atlas Mountains.
