Day 1-3
MARRAKESH, Morocco
Discover the incredible local secrets and treasures of Marrakesh whilst staying in a tranquil oasis at the Riad Farnatchi.
For a more intimate and relaxing stay in vibrant Marrakesh, look no further than the oasis found in the traditional Riad Farnatchi. The Riad is ideally located in the city to explore the souks and historical sites of Marrakech, like the Yves Saint Laurent Museum or the Medina. Hunt for kaftans, lanterns, spices, jewellery and other Moroccan gems whilst exploring the market, before heading back to the riad for a refreshing dip in the mosaic decorated courtyard pool. Head to the Farnatchi Spa to relax in a private marble Hamman before enjoying the sunset on the Riad’s rooftop restaurant whilst enjoying a delicious barbecue.
Day 3-4
AGAFAY DESERT, Morocco
No Morocco trip would be complete without a night in a nomadic Scarabeo tented camp in the middle of the rocky Agafay Desert.
Drive 45 minutes from Marrakesh to the rocky Agafay Desert to spend the evening in a nomadic tent surrounded by a 360-degree view of the golden barren desert. Enjoy a camel ride through the landscape with the snow-capped Atlas Mountains on the horizon before enjoying the sunset as you make your way back to the Stone Desert camp. Spend the night dining on Moroccan cuisine made with fresh and locally sourced ingredients, sitting in a traditional lounge surrounded by flickering lanterns and clear starry skies.
Day 4-8
OURIKA VALLEY, Morocco
Retreat to a mountain oasis to recharge your batteries whilst exploring the national parks and local Berber village life.
Stay at the ‘Gateway to the Atlas Mountains’ at the Kasbah Bab Ourika, looking down on to the river and groves of olives, oranges and lemons. Take a dip in the infinity pool with unparalleled views over the snow-covered mountain peaks on the horizon. Spend your days either enjoying leisurely walks and picnics locally, or exploring the region on longer treks, such as one to the remote and unspoilt salt national park. On your way, pass through local villages to experience Berber village life and their vibrant markets, before heading back to the hotel for a Hamman or relaxing massage in the gardens at the Beldi Spa.
