La Sultana Style

Located along Morocco’s Atlantic coast, La Sultana Oualidia is a hidden gem overlooking the Oualidia Lagoon, where the tides set the place of life.

Once a 17th-century pirate stronghold, this tranquil retreat has transformed into a serene oasis. Guests can enjoy the lagoon’s ecological wonders while doing activities like surfing, fishing, birdwatching, and horse-riding.

Designed to feel like a family home, La Sultana offers 12 exquisitely decorated rooms and suites, each with private terraces and jacuzzis. The hotel’s architecture, crafted from carved stone, is adorned with designer collections, market finds, and contemporary art. Its oriental atmosphere is complemented by lush botanical gardens filled with cacti, agaves, and palms, the perfect balance between an ecological approach and a commitment to architecture.

“La Sultana Oualidia’s architecture is the art of dry-stone walling, knowledge and techniques maintained in Morocco for thousand of years”
