Nestled within a vast 7,000-acre private nature reserve, Namib Outpost will warmly welcome you. Immerse yourself in the endless panoramic views from one of the 12 suites or the main house, featuring a restaurant, lounge, and pool terrace, all beautifully situated at the base of a mountain. The adjacent plains offer frequent sightings of animals roaming in the boundless savannah.

At Namib Outpost, guests have the opportunity to engage in various activities provided by the lodge, including excursions to Sossusvlei, thrilling horse safaris, and scenic countryside tours. The Outpost is situated in a private nature reserve adjacent to the world heritage site known as the ‘Namib Sand Sea.’ For experienced hikers, the Namib Mountain Trail presents a half-day guided hike over mountains and through the plains.

The Pitchers

We had the most amazing time! John Barclay and his team were very special and the mobile safari exclusive and superb. Moremi was very quiet with few other tourists – no more than a dozen other vehicles seen in four days. Macatoo was also excellent with good riding and game. We were so grateful for the help that you offered when our BA flights went wrong. Many thanks again for the superb service and recommendations which made for a great holiday.
