The wildlife is absolutely extraordinary in the Masai Mara Conservancies. The three areas that House In The Wild covers are the Enonkishu, Lemek and Ol Chorro Oiruwa conservancies. Big cats, elephants, hundreds of bird species and plain game are all visible within 15 minutes of the lodge. it is possible to experience the safari by walking, but also via helicopter, vehicle, bicycle or boda boda (the traditional African motorbikes). There is also the option to spend an hour at the local Maasai village and learn about their different traditions and rituals such as how to make fire, listen to their singing and also watch how they make huts. Nearby there is also a Mara elephant project where you can go and learn from the lodge’s partner in elephant protection. The lodge itself has a lovely pool and spa, you can get a relaxing massage in the open air. For lunch and dinner, fresh and healthy food is all produced by the farm or the family themselves. House In The Wild is true luxury and somewhere to stay if you want 5* service.
