All of the suites are freestanding villas with open-air living and dining pavilions to maximise breezes and views over the gardens to Koggala Lake. The interiors are decorated with artwork and artefacts from across Asia such as stately teak furniture and blue-white china, but also have contemporary touches. Each room is individually designed and extremely comfortable and three of the villas have their own pools. The hotel has plenty of facilities, a swimming pool, a yoga pavilion with a resident yoga teacher, a spa for massages, a fitness suite and television room with beanbags.Dining takes place in the atmospheric, open-aired dining pavilion or it’s glass-balconied extension. It’s also possible to arrange private dining. The daily-changing set menus for lunch and dinner always include a Sri Lankan option, as well as international fusion cuisine.
