This classic safari-style camp is discreetly tucked away in a secluded valley, nestled against a magnificent dolomite hill. The camp comprises of eight spacious and comfortable Meru-style tents, each featuring en-suite facilities, refreshing open-air showers, and private verandas. Additionally, a family unit accommodating four offers ample space for a memorable family adventure. The main area, artfully constructed with a fusion of stone, canvas, and thatch, overlooks a frequently visited waterhole. Observing wildlife as they gather to drink from this vantage point or from the inviting swimming pool is a cherished way to spend time for guests.

With its strategic location near Etosha, Ongava Tented Camp facilitates exciting game drives not only within Etosha National Park but also within the Ongava Reserve itself. Notably, Ongava holds one of the most significant rhino custodianships for the Namibian government in the country, making it a prime destination to witness both black and white rhino, along with other majestic big game, such as lions. The Pitchers

We had the most amazing time! John Barclay and his team were very special and the mobile safari exclusive and superb. Moremi was very quiet with few other tourists – no more than a dozen other vehicles seen in four days. Macatoo was also excellent with good riding and game. We were so grateful for the help that you offered when our BA flights went wrong. Many thanks again for the superb service and recommendations which made for a great holiday.
