Why we love it
Track wildlife that can only be spotted in the desert landscapes of Namibia, including desert-adapted lion, elephant and giraffe.
Explore the smaller things that make Kaokoland such an interesting landscape – a must for those interested in birds, insects and flora.
Observe one of the last remaining populations of black rhino in Africa and learn how they have adapted to their environment by avoiding the heat.
Spend a day with the local Herero people who live along the Skeleton Coast, to find out how they survive in this inhospitable environment.
Learn about the importance of giraffe conservation by speaking to researchers, before meeting some of the magnificent creatures.
Atilla
The journey to Namibia and Serra Cafema was the best trip I’ve ever done. I really loved the remote camp, the way we travelled there (flying over the endless dunes and amazing coastline in a private plane) and the infinite hospitality, knowledge and passion of the whole team. We enjoyed a lot of activities: we visited the Himba people, which was the experience of a lifetime, took a quad bike tour and boat tour. For my birthday, they organised a private dinner at a beautiful, remote location.
