Onduli Ridge takes its name from the resident giraffe population, and its exquisite location as it is nestled at the base of two south-facing granite outcrops, connected by a ridge. From this vantage point, guests are treated to breathtaking vistas of Namibia’s highest mountain, the Brandberg in the south, and the scattered, cathedral-like granite inselbergs to the north. The camp comprises six suites, artfully concealed among the granite boulders. The central Damaraland’s milder climate allows for naturally ventilated suites with partially open-air bathrooms and spacious communal areas that seamlessly blend with the surroundings. The camp’s design revolves around maximizing the awe-inspiring landscape views, with every space serving as a viewpoint. Louvered shutters offer the flexibility to merge indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing guests to immerse themselves in nature or enjoy complete privacy when desired. Each suite boasts a king-size bed equipped with its own ‘climate conditioner’ called the evening breeze, ensuring comfort during afternoon siestas or nights spent under a canopy of stars on the private deck. The camp radiates character and meticulous attention to detail, catering to diverse needs with generously sized rooms. There is also a library and various relaxing spots. Gourmet cuisine tantalizes the palate after an array of exceptional activities such as game viewing, e-biking and rock art. Onduli Ridge offers an experience that leaves an indelible mark, celebrating the beauty of Namibia in all its splendor.
