Day 1-3
REYKJAVIK, Iceland
The quaint and colourful fishing town of Reykjavík offers an insight into true Icelandic living as well as providing the perfect springboard to explore Iceland’s key highlights.
Begin in the fishing town of Reykjavík, the country’s capital, with two nights at Konsulat Hotel. After arriving, taste fresh local produce for lunch at The Grill Market. Here, meet your local guide who’ll entertain you with anecdotes on how people live today – cultures old and new arte entirely unique to other corners of Europe. On the following day, let your private driver-guide take you to the Golden Circle. Experience Thingvellir National Park, Geysir Hot Spring and the Golden Waterfall, a mirage of volcanic remains and extraordinary water features. It’s also worth spending time at the exclusive hot springs of Secret Lagoon.
Day 3-4
BLUE LAGOON, Iceland
Immerse yourself in the Icelandic wilderness and escape artificial light, enhancing your chances of seeing the Northern Lights.
Travel south to The Retreat Hotel at Blue Lagoon where you’ll spend your final night. Once here, enjoy a full day experiencing your own private corner of the Blue Lagoon. We can pre-book a spa treatment for you at the incredibly popular in-house spa which takes inspiration from the dramatic landscapes’ minerals. With a guide, hike into the wilderness, and as the sun sets, nestle down at a preferred spot to enhance your chance of seeing the Northern Lights – a spectacular Icelandic send-off.
