If you make a new holiday booking to a country that at the time does not have quarantine at either end, or FCO advice against travel, here is how you are covered if things change:
If up to 14 days before departure, there is FCO advice against travel or a national quarantine introduced at either end, you will be given these three options:
1. Travel as booked.
2. Change to new dates – with no charge*^.
3. Issue a full refund**.
*We have negotiated excellent terms with many of our suppliers. If there is a less flexible supplier involved in your booking, we will make this clear before you book.
^ If a revised booking is of greater value to the original, you will have to pay the difference. If the value is less, we will refund you the difference.
**We will, wherever possible, give you the option of a full refund. This is solely depended on our suppliers and we will not be able to refund you if our suppliers do not refund us. As above, we will advise you of the supplier’s policy before you book.
If you are instructed by the government ‘track and trace’ scheme not to travel, or are unable to travel as you have Covid-19, by taking out our travel insurance policy, you will be able to make a claim.
In short, we have you covered.
