This exclusive camp consists of just three stilted chalets, and nothing is quite so special as waking up to the view of hippos bathing in the Luangwa River beneath you from the comfort of your four-poster bed. The towering ebony trees not only keep the camp cool and shaded, they provide a home for an abundance of wildlife. With seven oxbow lagoons in the surrounding area, there’s always the opportunity to spot some thirsty animals looking for a drink. They even have a hide, which looks over one of the lagoons, where you can chill out and watch the wildlife passing by, or to have a mid-afternoon nap to the sounds of animals washing.
