Ol Donyo Lodge is set on 275,000 acres nestled in the foothills of the Chyulus with views over the plains to Mount Kilimanjaro, the lodge blends seamlessly into the landscape. Combining contemporary design with rich Maasai culture each of ol Donyo’s villas and suits are individually styled and decorated, each room has their own plunge pool and enjoy roof terraces where intimate “star beds” can be set up, allowing guests the thrill of sleeping in style under the african sky. There are a variety of activities available from the lodge, horse riding, guided bush walks, twice daily game drives and for children a personal guide can be provided who can provide a number of fun activities for your little one including bush survival course to name a few. After a full day of activities guests find themselves relaxing in the lodge pool and enjoying much needed sundowners on the deck overlooking the plains.
Serian was the first of Alex’s camps, and it perfectly captures the essence of its name: meaning ‘peaceful, calm, serene’ in the Masai language, it was designed to be a retreat from the bustle of contemporary life, and a chance to experience untamed Africa in traditional tented splendour.
Rekero has a long and proud history in the Mara that lends to it a depth of character and low-key authenticity that is the hallmark of this luxury tented camp.
Elephant Pepper Camp is situated in the prime core of the protected and private Mara North Conservancy wilderness area.
