Chobe National Park is Botswana’s first National Park and is home to the dazzling blue Chobe River. Stay in one of the beautiful thatched cottages, each with its own private verandah – ensuring complete seclusion and incredible views of the Chobe River in the national park. If you want to head out onto the river, there are traditional mokoro excursions available, where you will glide in the shallows of the river, surrounded by floating flowers.

Perhaps have sundowners and a picnic at the banks of the river, or head back to the spacious lounge and sink into one of the comfortable sofas. The lodge offers extraordinary game viewing, helicopter rides and even home-cooked meals set up outside for you.

The Pitchers

We had the most amazing time! John Barclay and his team were very special and the mobile safari exclusive and superb. Moremi was very quiet with few other tourists – no more than a dozen other vehicles seen in four days. Macatoo was also excellent with good riding and game. We were so grateful for the help that you offered when our BA flights went wrong. Many thanks again for the superb service and recommendations which made for a great holiday.
