Dinaka is in the beautiful Central Kalahari Game Reserve in Botswana. The private and secluded atmosphere of the camp is down to the fact that it only caters for a small number of guests which creates a much more personal ambience. Each luxurious tent offers en-suite bathrooms, panoramic views and individual balconies. There is even a sleep-out deck which offers guests the chance to sleep under the stars.

Spend the day exploring the Kalahari wildlife, ranging from porcupines to the mighty Kalahari lion. Afterwards, take a dip in the pool which overlooks a permanent waterhole – so your wildlife viewing could even continue here. Relax at the bar and finish your evening with a delicious meal at the star deck where you can sample the delicious food cooked by the talented on-site chefs.

Game Drives

Head out in a 4x4 to follow the seasonal movements of the wildlife for the day, with the chance to spot the Big Five.

Bushmen Walk

Follow the San Bushmen for an interpretive walk, as they teach you the cultural significance of their dress and way of life.

Sleep out under the stars on Kalahari Plains Camp's comfortable star bed, falling asleep to the gentle nighttime sounds of the African bush.

The Pitchers

We had the most amazing time! John Barclay and his team were very special and the mobile safari exclusive and superb. Moremi was very quiet with few other tourists – no more than a dozen other vehicles seen in four days. Macatoo was also excellent with good riding and game. We were so grateful for the help that you offered when our BA flights went wrong. Many thanks again for the superb service and recommendations which made for a great holiday.
