Nicaragua’s Pacific coast is home to long sweeping beaches, crashing waves and some truly spectacular sunsets. Tourism is gradually growing along the coast and there are now a handful of high-end properties, if you’re looking for a luxury beach stay before you fly home. If you’re a seasoned surfer, or simply want to try it out for the first time, San Juan del Sur is the perfect little surfer’s town from which to do this. If you are looking for a bit more luxury, try Morgan’s Rock Eco-lodge near Playa Ocotal or Mukul near Playa Manzanillo.

High quality travel & perfectly planned

Our trip was perfectly organised by True Travel and went off without a hitch. The hotels were stunning, the service amazing and could not be faulted. We had trips/excursions booked for the first week and they were incredibly well planned with a lot of thought and effort. The guides were amazing and I would highly recommend all of them. Our second week was for “downtime” and this was definitely the right way to do it.
