Day 1: Paris, France

After flying into the City of Love, familiarise yourself with your home for the next six days, Le Bristol. Located in the historical heart of Paris, you’ll be well-placed to discover this beautiful city. Once settled, you’ll embark on a privately guided walking tour of the city – wander along the Seine, gaze up at the Eiffel Tower, smell the flowers in the Jardin du Luxembourg, or simply lose yourself in the charming architecture of Paris’ iconic streets. Discovering Paris on foot allows you to truly embrace the magic of the world’s most romantic city.

Day 2: Paris, France

Depending on your interests, spend your second day with a specialist guide on a day trip totally tailored to you! For art lovers, admire some of the world’s most important works hung on the walls of the Louvre, Paris Museum of Modern Art and Musée d’Orsay. While away the hours admiring spectacular architecture such as the Notre-Dame Cathedral, Sainte-Chapelle and Panthéon. The more adventurous kind can venture down to explore the Catacombs, the city’s underground network of ossuaries holding over six million human bones.

Day 3: Paris, France

Rise from bed at your own pace and enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the hotel restaurant, or pop out to any of the delicious local boulangeries for freshly-baked croissants. With French cuisine on your mind, enjoy a walking tour of the city to discover hidden gems that locals consider the best spots for traditional cuisine. Day 4: Montmartre, Paris, France

  • Climb up 300 narrow steps to reach the top of the Sacré-Cœur’s Dome

Flaunting quaint bistros, a legacy of artists, cobbled streets, a beautiful basilica and spectacular views over the city, this authentic neighbourhood is the city’s most famous.

After a day of utter indulgence, it’s time to work up a sweat whilst on a day tour of the famous hilltop neighbourhood of Montmartre. If you’re feeling energetic, brave the many steps up to the top, or simply hop in the funicular. Once you’ve arrived, marvel at incredible views that stretch over the whole city and its mesmerising landmarks. Catch your breath before climbing to the top of the Sacré-Cœur’s imposing domed basilica. As the city’s second-highest point, you’re guaranteed a sweeping bird’s-eye view. Wander down to the Moulin Rouge where we’ve reserved you tickets to see one of the most famous cabarets.

Day 5: Versailles, France

  • Enjoy a private tour of the former home of the French monarchy and Marie-Antoinette
  • Stand in the spectacular Hall of Mirrors, the Palace’s most celebrated room

Perfect for a day of exploring, lose yourself in the elaborate expanses of manicured gardens and beautiful intricacies of the Palace, once the principal royal residence.

Your final full day calls for a day trip to the Palace of Versailles. In close proximity to Paris, travel to the magnificent Palace where you’ll enjoy private guiding around its 700 rooms once home to the French monarchy. Find yourself in the remarkable Hall of Mirrors, arguably the most famous room in Paris, before exploring the ornamental palace gardens. Other magnificent features are the art-filled state apartments, the King’s ornate bedroom, and Marie-Antoinette’s château – now converted into a museum about her life. On your return to Le Bristol, let us reserve you a table at the three Michelin-starred restaurant to commemorate your final night in Paris.
