Perfect for a day of exploring, lose yourself in the elaborate expanses of manicured gardens and beautiful intricacies of the Palace, once the principal royal residence.
Your final full day calls for a day trip to the Palace of Versailles. In close proximity to Paris, travel to the magnificent Palace where you’ll enjoy private guiding around its 700 rooms once home to the French monarchy. Find yourself in the remarkable Hall of Mirrors, arguably the most famous room in Paris, before exploring the ornamental palace gardens. Other magnificent features are the art-filled state apartments, the King’s ornate bedroom, and Marie-Antoinette’s château – now converted into a museum about her life.
