Why we love it
Cruise to Mistletoe Bay to see native Marlborough wildlife, before disembarking for a walk along Queen Charlotte Track, and hopping back onboard for dinner.
Follow your guide and paddle over to a salmon farm located in a neighbouring bay, before enjoying a fresh seafood lunch on the beach.
Watch dolphins and seals in their natural habitat from sheltered coves along the Sounds, with the possibility of swimming with them depending on the conditions.
Wander a short distance from the lodge into the bush after dark to experience a natural light show, put on by the glow worms.
Opportunities to birdwatch are vast, from stepping out of your room at dusk to a chorus of birds; to kayaking across the Bay to find breeding seabird colonies.
Wander through the 52-hectares of private bush surrounding the Resort, taking in all the sights and sounds of Marlborough's wildlife.
Famed for fresh fish, the Marlborough Sounds offers the perfect opportunity for you to catch and release blue cod.
Lesley & Hary
We had such a wonderful holiday. Katie put together a brilliant itinerary, which we tweaked a little in places, and the accommodation she chose was first class. She gave us great recommendations of activities and the whole trip went smoothly. Timings worked well between destinations because she had good knowledge of New Zealand, and the driving distances, car changes, ferry crossings, meeting points for activities were all easily achievable.
