Example Itinerary

Day 1 – 3

JODHPUR, India

  • Spend a day learning about Rajasthan’s history inside the huge, towering Mehrangarh Fort
  • Explore the surrounding desert by camel safari

A desert city, Jodhpur’s iconic blue buildings stand out like an oasis amongst Rajasthan’s rocky red landscapes.

Begin your holiday in Jodhpur where you’ll spend two nights at Raas Jodhpur, an oasis set in the heart of the old walled city. From within the walls, marvel at the spectacular views of 15th century Mehrangarh Fort, especially when it’s lit up in the evening. After sunrise yoga on the rooftop, make a day of exploring the fort, hopping on the Flying Fox Zipline for spectacular views over the Blue City, or visiting Rao Jodha Desert Park.

Day 3 – 6

JAWAI BANDH, India

  • Enjoy wilderness drives to spot the area’s famous leopards, one of Jawai’s biggest draws
  • Take a stroll with one of the camp’s shepherds to experience life in their shoes

A safari bush experience within the Indian wilderness, a stay at Suján is a stay at a luxury camp where wild leopards roam free.

For the ultimate leopard safari experience, head south to Jawai Bandh where you’ll spend three nights at the authentic and luxurious tented Sujan Jawai Leopard Camp in rural Rajasthan. Notoriously the best place in the world for leopard sightings, rise at the crack of dawn or head out at sunset with expert guides in customised jeeps to track them in their natural habitat. Beyond leopards, spot birds on nature trails, trek with a shepherd to Mount Baliraja and indulge in delicious Indian delicacies.

Day 6-8

UDAIPUR, India

  • Visit the City Palace, particularly well lit at night, to see where the ruling Maharaja lives
  • Take a private sunset boat cruise into Lake Pichola

Udaipur is a city known for its lavish royal residences, filled with lakes for serene relaxation.

Travel to Rajasthan’s most romantic city, Udaipur, and arrive by boat to the Taj Lake Palace where you’ll spend two nights. This magical floating white-marble palace on Lake Pichola, featured in James Bond’s Octopussy boasts panoramic views of the surrounding Udaipur, especially from al fresco dining in the Lily Pond courtyard. Take a water-taxi to the city pier for a picturesque walking tour of Old Udaipur and wind your way through side streets awash with leather goods, jewels and spices.

Day 8 – 10

MUMBAI, India

  • Visit the Gateway of India, the ultimate commemoration of British rule in India
  • Take a private tour around Mumbai Film City to see the booming heart of the Bollywood industry

A city that juts out into the sea, Mumbai retains many elements of its colonial history as Bombay, making for fascinating exploration.

Take a flight south to Mumbai and stay in the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, an iconic hotel with old-fashioned opulence set on the city’s waterfront with spectacular views over the Arabian Sea. With the finest location in southern Mumbai, you’re within a stone’s throw of the Gateway of India and the sprawling capital. On a private guided tour, begin with a morning visit Crawford and Sassoon markets, before exploring trendy boutiques, antique shops, exceptional restaurants, galleries, and museums.

Day 10 – 15

LAAMU ATOLL, Maldives

  • Enjoy a private picnic on a secluded sandbank for ultimate privacy
  • Eat in one of the Maldives’ best underwater restaurants for a once-in-a-lifetime experience

The picture postcard tropical islands renowned for indulgent luxury, the Maldives are a snorkelers heaven with over a thousand coral reefs.

Swap the hustle and bustle of India’s cities for barefoot luxury of the Maldives where you’ll spend five nights at Six Senses Laamu, located on a remote island in a faraway atoll and surrounded by schools of manta rays and colourful coral reefs. Embark on a sunset sailing dhoni cruise, feast on sumptuous barbeque prepared by your personal chef, experience world-class snorkelling from your overwater villa and spot the constellations by beach telescope with a world class astronomer.
