Day 1 - 5: Cape Town, South Africa

There are few more enjoyable cities in the world than Cape Town to spend a few days at the start of your holiday. With superb weather, plenty of active things to do both in the city and the surrounding area, as well as a thriving culinary scene, it really does offer something for everyone.

You will be starting your trip in the glorious One&Only Cape Town, found in the heart of the bustling V&A Waterfront, but with a secluded location that makes it a haven of tranquillity where you can relax by the pool and enjoy the outstanding service and food for which it is renowned. The location also means you can easily access all of the main attractions of Cape Town including Table Mountain, Robben Island, its museums and galleries as well as the endless range of restaurants. We can also assist with planning trips further afield to destinations such as the Cape Peninsula and Constantia in the company of some outstanding guides who know the areas like the back of their hands.

Day 6 - 8: The Winelands, South Africa

Take a stroll along the private walking trails that head in to the Franschhoek Mountains from the back of the hotel, accompanied by a gourmet picnic lunch

Tour the numerous wineries of the Franschhoek Valley – the Franschhoek Wine Tram is a unique and very popular way to explore and makes for a great day out

The quaint village of Franschhoek is home to some of the best hotels, restaurants and wineries in South Africa and is a glorious place to spend a few days. Take in incredible views, taste wines, relax by the pool or head out to explore – anything goes in this wonderful corner of the country.

From Cape Town a scenic road transfer will take you to Franschhoek, an idyllic and historic village in the heart of the Cape Winelands. Your home when staying here will be the outstanding Leeu Estates, which sits on the hillside looking down on the village. An effortless blend of modern style and traditional touches, you will be incredibly well looked-after during your stay here. The food is arguably the finest at any Franschhoek hotel and you will have easy access to the adjacent Mullineux Winery with whom the hotel is partnered. The spa here is incredible and it is a great place to spend the afternoon being pampered.

Day 9 - 12: The Kruger

Revel in spending your safari in one of the best wildlife viewing areas anywhere in the world – the predator sightings are especially good

Renowned for offering some of the finest game viewing that Africa has to offer, the Sabi Sand Wildtuin is a must-do for wildlife enthusiasts looking to enjoy their safaris in style. The quality of the lodges matches the safari experience across the board here and it is a great place to end any South Africa trip.

From Franschhoek you’ll be transferred back to Cape Town airport for a flight to the Kruger region where you will connect on to the Sabi Sand Wildtuin. Here you will be staying at Londolozi Founders Camp, a gem of a camp sited on the banks of the Sand River. Relax in the lap of luxury when you are in the camp, enjoy the superb food, warm and natural hospitality as you take in the views out across the bush. When out on safari you will benefit from the company of South Africa’s finest and best-trained guides whose passion and knowledge shines through at all times. With the Big Five found in abundance here, as well as a variety of other wildlife, it really does offer an incomparable safari experience.
