Mozambique’s Southern Coast

Indian Ocean sunrises, turquoise waters, fantastic snorkelling, and some of the best whale watching in Africa is waiting for you on Mozambique’s vast sweep of unspoiled coastline. Alongside your time on the beach it’s worth considering spending a night in the vibrant capital Maputo, a colourful city with a great music and art scene. Maputo can also provide a stopover if you’re looking to explore more of the country and head further north up the coast towards the Benguerra or Quirimbas Archipelagos.
