Nxai Pan is one of Makgadikgadi’s natural salt pans to the northern border of the national park. Staying in Nxai is an incredible experience. Not only can you see the thousands of zebras that migrate to the Nxai Pan National Park to drop their young, but you can also go and visit Baines’ Baobabs which haven’t changed much since they were immortalised in his paintings 150 years ago. Relax in the bright airy lounge and admire the traditional bamboo detailing adorning the walls. Sit around the evening campfire under the starry night sky and chat with other guests. The camp even has its own waterhole which elephants frequent much of the time so you also have a good chance of seeing them from the comfort of your room.
