Casa del Presidente was the residence of President Belisario Betancourt and the house is bursting with character and history. This private house has five en-suite bedrooms, a dining room for up to ten people and an outdoor terrace and swimming pool. A small office workspace was once the President’s private office. This is the perfect place to hire as a private villa with family or friends. The town of Barichara was founded in 1705, and much of its original Colonial architecture is preserved. Today it draws some of the most exciting artists and writers in the country and was once frequented by the likes of Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
