Inca Utama

Lake Titicaca

This new hotelier concept includes a Cultural Center, introducing visitors to the depth of the native cultures of Bolivia, through the Altiplano Museum, the Native Chapel, the Lost City of Atlantis, the clay igloos of the Uru Chipayas culture and the Chullpas, mortuary towers of the Aymara culture. But the highlight on daytime visits is the replica of the RA II and Tigris, reed rafts built for the epic expeditions of Thor Heyerdahl and Dominique Goerlitz. At night, a visit to the mysterious world of the Kallawayas – naturist doctors and fortune tellers – and the Alajpacha Native Observatory, for a mystical dialog with the Universe and the Southern Stars.

The hotel has 65 comfortable rooms and suites, all with private bathrooms, heaters and electric blankets for the comfort of its guests, as well as two restaurants, both with views of the Sacred Lake. The food prepared by our chef expresses the gastronomic diversity of the region, with color, flavor and freshness of all food.

Reasons we love Inca Utama

  • Sweeping views across Lake Titicaca from the bedrooms and communal areas.
  • Electric blankets provided for the chilly nights at altitude.
  • Enjoy dinner with nightly folkloric Andean music.
