Fly into Perugia, where you will be transferred to Val D’Orcia to stay at Monteverdi. After a good night’s sleep, enjoy a private wine tasting tour around Val D’Orcia – a beautiful region that has historically produced renowned reds and whites. The following day, a local truffle hunter will collect you with his dogs and take you into the national park to scout for both black and white truffles, learning the secrets of hunting for this exclusive ingredient. Enjoy the fruits of your labour in a luxury picnic, complete with a BBQ feast of local meat cooked on the rocks in front of your eyes.
