Why we love it
Watch Nihi's horses gallop along the beach for a swim in the ocean every lunchtime, or visit the state of the art equestrian facilities for riding. Take a trail ride along the beach at sunset, or exploring local villages and the coastline.
Float along the winding Wanukaka River and paddle board your way past local village life and green scenery. Don't be surprised if you're joined by water buffalo and local children in the river!
Learn to catch a wave on Coconut Cove's 'bunny slope' sized waves with Nihi's instructors, before advancing to the island's bigger swells.
Let your kids roam freely within Nihi's kids club, running daily creativity workshops ranging from recycled art lessons to cooking classes.
Take a morning walk through nature and local villages, arriving at the spectacular spa for breakfast and endless spa treatments overlooking the private beach and crashing ocean.
Help reverse the damage done to Indonesia's turtle population by helping release the new hatchlings into the ocean after their time at the hatchery.
Ride Nihi Sumba's world famous private wave - God's Left - famous worldwide amongst experienced surfers for its 300m long ride and ripple walls.
See Sumba's cocoa plantations and meet the growers at the factory, with the option to make, eat and drink chocolate from on the island.
While away the hours at Nio Beach Club, lounging by the infinity pool, with flowing cocktails and fresh pizzas from the clay oven.

We had an incredible holiday. All arrangements went well and we have recommended True Travel to friends already. Como Ubud was incredible as were the staff, our room was also upgraded which was a treat. Madey is an incredible guide, we loved the volcanoes, monkey farm and rice terraces and it was such good value. From here we went to Komodo Dive Resort Âwhere the food was fantastic and diving team were great.
