Why we love it
The camp is an eclectic mix of contemporary interiors and Ndebele culture. The nine luxurious tents (eight twin and one family) overlook the scenic plain and water hole, which makes for fantastic game viewing. The main area includes various multi-level decks, amongst them, a cosy library and winter lounge complete with fireplace and shaded salas surrounding an inviting pool and sun deck. The camp’s nearby romantic Star Bed looks onto an active waterhole.
The camp also comprises of a 5 star restaurant where the focus is on fresh and light meals in the warmer months and for lunch, with soups and warming seasonal dishes in the colder season. The pizza oven is a favourite for lunch. For those wanting to enjoy romantic dinners alone there is also the option of private dining in several areas.
Explore Zimbabwe's largest national park, with varied habitats and landscapes in an open landrover on a morning or afternoon drive.
Head out into the wilderness on foot with an experienced and passionate guide and ranger in order to get close to some of the most dense populations of animals in Africa.

We were bundled into a vehicle and dashed off to see a leopard within the first 30 minutes of arriving; it was an AWESOME start. Our guide completely made the entire experience. He was an exceptional birder and his best party trick was to point out the bird and then tell us the exact page we could find it in our book. We combined Zimbabwe with Mozambique, and our beach hotel felt like a complete hidden gem. The sand is like ‘moon dust’ and the hospitality and food were fantastic.
