I have been lucky enough to travel to over 60 countries around the world, visiting many of the best hotels and making life-long friends along the way. I see the service that we provide at True Travel as a simple one – to understand the specific requirements of each client, and to use our first-hand knowledge and experience to create extraordinary memories. It is only simple because of the level of expertise our team possesses, and constantly expands. Whether you are exploring hidden vineyards in the Tuscan hills, floating through the treetops over the Great Wildebeest Migration in a hot air balloon or spending time learning from the Sámi people in Swedish Lapland, the joy of travel leaves you wanting more. There is always so much more to do and see – and we have the pleasure of taking you there.
The opportunity to broaden our guests horizons, by introducing them to new countries, cultures, landscapes, food, music and experiences they may never have heard or of considered before. I see that as a huge priviledge in what we do.
It depends on how many children we have with us! But if just for my wife and I, to have a real adventure in a new place, tasting new dishes (very important) and fully immersing in a different culture, with some big walks and even bigger views – that is the dream trip for us. Bhutan in Asia, was our last trip of this kind, and it was possibly the best trip I have ever been lucky enough to experience.
We have four young children, so travelling can involve a lot of admin! So paying for Fast Track through all airports is essential for me. When you are faced with an hour long queue for passport control, but you walk straight to the front with Fast Track, there is no better feeling! Often it is also very reasonably priced.
There are so many, but one of them is staring into the eyes of Mountain gorillas in the Volcanoes National Park on honeymoon with my wife. To see the majesty of these great animals up close, to study their hands and feet, and to witness their awesome power as they move about, is simply breathtaking and should be on everyone’s Bucket List.
