Graeme Evemy

Group Managing Director

My Experience

Graeme’s journey into travel started over 20 years ago, on a gap year spent travelling around India and Southeast Asia. His love of travel remains as strong to this day, with Asia particularly close to his heart as is North America where lived for over 5 years in Boston. Graeme is passionate about delivering an exceptional client experience and firmly believes in the importance of sustainable travel. From the Sahara desert to the Himalayas, recent travels are now closer to home and centred around his young family.

Get To Know Graeme

What's the thing you love most about working in the travel industry?

The opportunity to explore and help our clients to! From remote landscapes to bustling cities and everything in between, we are so fortunate to have a front row seat to some of our planet’s most spectacular environments and get to make new friendships along the way.

What is your ideal holiday?

It used to have to be somewhere new and different with as much of a ‘culture shock’ as possible, and whilst I still love the thrill of a new place I’m now equally happy to return to my favourite spots. With the reassurance of familiar sites and sounds and the chance to see how places evolve over time. Wherever I am, food is always an integral part of the trip!

What's your best travel tip?

Insider knowledge makes the difference between a good trip and an exceptional one. Tell us what you want to see and do, including the more personal experiences that are unique for you (mine would include the opportunity for morning runs). This allows us to truly tailor your trip. I believe in having some time at your leisure, whether to explore by yourself or relax and enjoy the view. It ofen provides unforgettable experiences and chance encounters, memories that can last longer than the classic sites.

And pack half of what you originally planned to put in your suitcase!

What's your favourite travel memory?

A trip to North India with my wife… a luxurious rural retreat which could not have been more relaxing, an overnight train (definitely not for everyone), a tiger encounter, ending with Delhi’s vibrancy. For us, it had the perfect mix of new and familiar experiences along with the most memorable dal makhani and kebabs!
