Most Memorable
My most memorable experience has got to be my trip to Rurrenabaque in the Amazon Rainforest in Bolivia. It began with a boat trip down the river where I unexpectedly had a monkey jump onto my lap to eat my banana. Then in the afternoon, after a bit of piranha fishing and caiman spotting, we were told to jump into the water as the guide spotted a large group of about 15 pink dolphins. Initially, we were all rather hesitant considering our activities over the morning, but we all quickly decided this was a once in a lifetime opportunity. It was the most surreal experience as the dolphins would swim up to and around us, before going missing and suddenly popping up behind you when you least expected it. If all those activities weren’t quite enough, we then watched the most incredible sunset from the river bank while eating the piranha we had caught earlier in the day (it was a lot tastier than you’d expect).

To get off the beaten track, avoid the crowds, and discover the true beauty of Mallorca I would definitely recommend a visit to Binissalem. Binissalem is a small town located in the centre of the island, and is known to be the island’s ‘wine capital’. Surrounded by some of the island’s best vineyards, you can go on guided tours around the wineries and cellars whilst tasting a variety of wines. Make sure to visit Terra di Vino, a genuine Italian restaurant located on the terrace of the town’s main square, with views of the 15th-century Gothic church of Santa Maria de Robines. It is a favourite to locals and offers the most delicious homemade pasta which you can accompany with the local wines. Whilst the menu looks short, it’s all about the specials here which the chef will come out to explain to you.

The service allowed us to completely relax, we did not need to think once about the logistics of our trip which allowed us to truly enjoy our time to the maximum. Our trip was also effortlessly tailor made to meet our preferences with no issues experienced by us at all.
Most Recent Trip
My most recent trip was to Paxos, Greece at the beginning of September. Having never visited the island before, the hydrofoil from Corfu was an exciting experience in itself and was a lovely start to the holiday as I was able to see the whole island from the sea. I spent the majority of the week exploring the island, seeking out the small alcoves with the bluest waters by boat and walking to the higher points on the west of the island to see the amazing views and watch the incredible sunsets. Evenings were spent in the tavernas in Gaios and in the quieter town of Lakka in the north of the island, indulging in the huge variety of fresh fish that had been caught that day. Personal highlights included snorkelling off the beaches of Anti-Paxos and drinking cocktails in Loggos whilst watching the fishing boats come in for the evening with all their catches.
