Andy has spent more than 10 years working in travel, marketing some of the UK’s most recognisable holiday brands. A keen skier, he enjoys seeing the world with a sense of adventure. Harnessing his background in digital and data, Andy’s mission is to help True Travel get recognised as the best tour operator in luxury travel.
I love talking about and selling a product / service that people are genuinely excited about. There is so much we can use to help spark the inspiration but knowing that everyone is different and trying to work out what is going to make them tick.
My ideal holiday involves a mix of sports and activities, with sunshine, food and drink. I like to be doing something in the day, whether it is golf, skiing, snorkeling, rafting, and then relax in the evening with a beer and some good food.
I would always start with where you want to go, rather than when you want to travel. If you’re too fixed on times or days you need to travel, you may have to make too many compromises. Ultimately the destination is the most important, so plan ahead and give yourself the flexibility to go when you’re going to get the experience.
My favourite travel memory is taking my daughter skiing for the first time. Watching her take on her first main slope at just 4 years old provided more of a thrill than I was expecting. I was so proud.
