We are proud to announce that our annual fundraiser, Peak to Peat, raised more than £12,000 for the True Travel Foundation.
Thanks to the generosity and support of donors, the total surpassed the original target by over £7,000, with all funds now being distributed to the Foundation’s charity partners in Peru, India, Zambia, and the UK.
We are proud to announce that our annual fundraiser, Peak to Peat, raised more than £12,000 for the True Travel Foundation.

In October 2025, the team took on a ‘Race Across the World’ challenge — travelling from England’s highest point to its lowest — to raise vital funds for charities supported by the True Travel Foundation.
They had just 24 hours to summit Scafell Pike and cover the 220 miles to Holme Fen, just south of Peterborough, using any means available. With no phones, no wallets, and only a few pounds for basic supplies, the team set off into the elements. Barring one pair of shoes, everyone made it up and down England’s highest peak. They battled Storm Amy’s 50mph ice winds and spent much of the next 24 hours navigating a tangle of delayed buses, cancelled trains, fallen trees, closed motorways, and a rapidly dwindling budget.
Relying entirely on the kindness of strangers, one team hitched a lift with a legendary vet, another walked more than six hours to reach civilisation, while the third sacrificed sleep for an overnight bus from Darlington to London. Somehow, though, they all made it. One team reached the finish line in the middle of Thursday night — exhausted yet elated — while the other two teams wrapped up their journeys in a sprint finish late Friday morning. Facing a final four-mile walk to Holme Fen, one team managed to pip the post (quite literally), beating the other by just 200 metres thanks to a lift from yet another kind stranger.
A priceless finish, a pair of shoes, endless snacks, and countless examples of generosity later, the team was sore, smiling, and already plotting next year’s challenge.
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone for their support and generous donations, which will go directly to our Foundation charities, including The Rucksack Project, The Newman Holiday Trust, The Sol y Luna Foundation, and The Female Empowerment Programme.
