Zambia’s bustling capital city is a microcosm of what Zambia is all about – a traditional African city that is rapidly transforming in to a hub of modernity and is at the heart of its successful economic growth. Whilst there isn’t much in the city to enjoy from a tourist perspective, its status as a regional business and commerce hub means there are some very good hotels to stay in here. Visitors will generally require a night in Lusaka on arrival as most flights to National Parks depart before international flights arrive, as well as possibly at the end of a trip.In addition to the excellent city hotels, there is a small nature reserve on the edge of Lusaka where guests requiring longer stays can relax and get a feel for being in the bush, whilst also participating in their varied conservation projects.Â
Named after its latitude co-ordinates, Latitude 15 is a small boutique hotel in the quiet residential suburb of Kabulanga in Zambia’s capital, Lusaka.
