The Mara Plains Camp is nestled among the private 13,300-hectare Olare Motorogi Conservancy on the Masai Mara’s Northern boundary. The camp has a strong conservation base and staying here contributes directly to the cause. A portion of the fees paid by each guest goes directly to safeguard this stunning landscape that is in need of protection. The camp is found in a lush green forest on the banks of the beautiful Ntiakitiak Ricer. There is only a small number of rooms which gives it an intimate atmosphere, with guests forming close relationships. The rooms are made of thick dark wood and blends seamlessly into the surrounding forest. There is also an option of staying in an exquisite tented two-bedroom suite, which is a great choice for small families or groups of friends. You can also stay in one of the fixed structures if you would prefer to be closer to the camp’s dining area and bar. There is also a short walkway nearby which leads to a refreshing private pool. In the evening, the night chorus of the African bush will fill your ears. Prepare to hear the music of hippos snorting and leopards barking! The Masai guides will escort you to and from your rooms. When you head out for an incredible day of wildlife viewing, each guest suite is also provided with a pair of high quality binocoluars and a professional camera – so you will be able to see everything clearly and capture it perfectly. What more could you want??
