Set out for an afternoon of thrilling adventure, searching for the black truffle with an addictive rich flavour and valued up to £650 per kilo. These treasures are surprisingly common here in the UK’s parks, gardens and woodland and have been hunted for hundreds of years – if you know where to look. Join our renowned truffle expert and his specialist hunting dogs for an unusual experience, learning some of his secrets of the trade as you head out on a truffle hunt.

This experience feels even more exciting as you’re led to one of our top secret estates of rich woodland – kept under wraps due to a very real fear of poaching. Many people associate truffle hunting with pigs, yet here in the UK experts tend to use dogs, which are easier to train and are less likely to eat the treasures themselves!

Alternatively, we can arrange for our expert to come hunt your own land, to discover whether you have any hidden treasures growing under your nose.

The truffle hunting season tends to run from October to April.

This experience can take place with very minimal close contact. It is only ever held outdoors and every hygienic precaution will be taken to ensure your safety.
