  • Rise early to visit the bustling fish market for breakfast

A busy and ultramodern capital, Tokyo combines traditional Japanese life with neon skyscrapers.

Stay at the flawlessly designed Aman Tokyo for breathtaking views of the city skyline and Mount Fuji. Rise early for breakfast at the Tsukiji fish market, followed by a wander through Akihabara, also known as Electronic Town. Here you can get a feel for the more modern side of Tokyo as you immerse yourself in the world of anime, manga comics and themed cafes. Stop for a quick lunch in Yurakucho before spending the afternoon experiencing the more traditional side of Japan’s capital.

Marvel at ancient shrines as you stroll through the sprawling Imperial Palace Gardens. Enjoy a private visit to the Sumo Stables to observe the wrestlers in action and experience the sound of traditional Japanese drums before learning the basics yourself. Stay at the luxurious Ritz Carlton on the banks of the Kamo River and enjoy a tea ceremony with a Maiko in the nearby Gion District. A contrast to the ancient Kyoto, Hiroshima is a modern city with a sad history linking to World War II.
