Day 1-4
Seville, Spain
Experience Seville where there is history aplenty and tapas bars in abundance. You will be hard stuck not to love it.
Corral Del Ray is the ultimate boutique hotel, as charming in design as it is in service. The location offers the perfect platform to explore the wonderful city of Seville. The best bit about Seville is the amount of things there are to see and do all in walking distance. With an expert guide explore the highlights, the bull ring where fights still happen annually, the Plaza de Espana in all its architectural glory and the Alcazar Gardens. Come your evenings with a tapas expert work your way through some of the oldest and best tapas spots so you are an expert for the rest of your time in Spain. Finally, attend a flamenco dancing lesson to fully immerse yourself into the Seville lifestyle.
Day 5-6
Cordoba, Spain
Travel further back in time beyond Cordoba’s Old Town’s Roman walls which cross the Guadalquivir at the Roman Bridge, said to have carried the fabled Via Augusta that ran from Rome to Cadiz.
Staying at the Hospes Palacio del Bailio puts you a stone’s throw from the centre of all you will wish to see. Córdoba is famed for being the city of arches, and the best place to begin winding your way through them is under the hypnotic curves of the Mezquita, the city’s splendid Mosque–Cathedral. The history of the city itself is remarkable and with your expert guide it can walk through the citys history from start to finish passing landmarks that evidence its colourful past. Come Spring you will be able to enjoy the added bonus of visiting the Patios – competing to win the most spectacular year on year. Terraces bursting with fantastic flowers in one hundred shades, you will be relieved that the judging is not in your hands.
Day 6-8
Granada, Spain
Set at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the city of Granada sits pretty overlooked by the breathtaking Alhambra.
Hospes Palacio de los Patos reflects the city in which it is in, a combination of old and new. No trip to Granada would be complete without visiting the majestic Alhambra, a series of palaces and gardens built under the Nazari Dynasty in the 14th century. Your private guide will explain the history behind the palace as you admire its incredible architecture and explore the idyllic Generalife gardens.
Whilst in the city, be sure to also stop by the Granada Cathedral and the Alcazaba, a wonderfully preserved Moorish fortress. If you should still have a little time on your hands, a visit to the famous gypsy caves in the Sacromonte mountain monastery make for an epic final venture.
