Oslo is the definition of a green city, with plenty of parks, and easily-reachable forests and lakes only a tram ride away.

Begin your trip by flying to Oslo, where you’ll be staying two nights at Amerikalinjen. Once settled, explore the city by guided bike tour, cycling through small side streets to see some of the locals’ favourite hidden gems. Adrenaline seekers can spend an afternoon on the water on a RIB safari, splashing and speeding around Oslofjord whilst soaking up the coastal views. Known for its delicious food and trendy restaurants, let us make reservations for you to enjoy some of Oslo’s best fare.

Day 3-5

BERGEN, Norway

  • Enjoy a guided walking tour of this charming seaside town
  • Discover the colourful houses of Bryggen that line the harbour

Famous for its colourful wooden houses, Bergen is a pretty harbour city with opportunities to shop in the town and hike in the country.

Catch a domestic flight to Bergen for two nights at Opus XVI. With a private guide, head out on a walking tour of the city to explore its endless charm. Visit the colourful wooden houses along the seaside in Bryggen, stopping to recharge your batteries at the fish market for delicious fresh seafood along the way. Head up to the top of Fløyen Mountain on the Fløibanen Funicular for panoramic views of the city, before hiking down the mountain for a taste of nature. A visit to Edvard Greig’s house is a must for classical music lovers, widely considered one of the top composers of the romantic era.

Day 5-8

AURLAND, Norway

  • Fly fishing in the Aurlandselva River, filled with brown trout
  • Visit a pasture farm to try Norwegian goat products

Stay in the heart of Viking country amongst the dramatic Aurland scenery, right by the UNESCO-listed West Norwegian Fjords.

Take the famous Flåmsbana railway to Aurland, often described as the most beautiful train journey in the world, taking you through greenery and mountaintops. Here, you’ll be staying at 29.2 Aurland along the Aurlandselva River. Test your skills at one of the world’s best fly fishing destinations to catch a brown trout for dinner, or a salmon to release. Get in touch with nature whilst hiking to the graceful Tvindefossen waterfall, stopping along the way at Hovdungo pasture farm to meet the farmer and his goats. If you’re feeling hungry, try their delicious goat milk pancakes.
