Day 1 - 4: Cape Town, South Africa

Explore one of South Africa’s most cosmopolitan cities, Cape Town, and soak up its outstanding scenery, unspoilt coastline, idyllic vineyards, vibrant culture and gourmet food.

Begin your holiday in Cape Town with three nights at More Quarters, a beautiful selection of converted apartments set in a characterful neighbourhood, just a stone’s throw away from bustling Kloof and Long Street. As a family, we can arrange for you to discover the Mother City with a professional guide on day sightseeing excursions. With plenty of activities at your fingertips, ascend Table Mountain, spot the penguins at Boulder Beach, horse ride through Constantia Winelands or visit the edge of Cape Point.

Day 4 - 6: Swakopmund, Namibia

Get a taste for Namibia whilst visiting the coastal city of Swakopmund where desert and marine ecosystems meet.

After landing in Namibia, you’ll be transferred to the coastal town of Swakopmund where you’ll spend two nights at The Strand. Set on the promenade and surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, the location is perfect for accessing the main beach and exploring this unique desert ecosystem. Spend a morning kayaking with seals and spotting flamingos on a calm lagoon nearby Pelican Point. We can arrange for you to venture out in the afternoon on a living desert safari where you’ll spot lizards and geckos. Don’t miss the opportunity to sandboard down the famous red dunes.

Day 6 - 9: Damaraland, Namibia

As a charming camp with dramatic views over Aba Huab Valley, here you can seek out historic rock engravings and track desert-adapted wildlife.

Head north to Damaraland, where you’ll spend three nights at Camp Kipwe. Nestled within boulders, this intimate camp is surrounded by the expansive, dry landscape of Aba Huab valley. Delve into this rugged terrain with a morning nature drive where desert-adapted wildlife such as elephants and black rhinos roam freely. Learn about the local flora and fauna on a nature walk from Mowani Mountain Camp, or head out on a Burnt Mountain, Organ Pipes and rock engravings excursion around the World Heritage Site of Twyfelfontein.

Day 9 - 11: Erongo Mountains, Namibia

With an abundance of birdlife fluttering above, have your binoculars to hand to spot black eagles and regional birds such as rosy-faced lovebirds and Rüppell’s parrots.
