Mpala Jena is a beautiful, exclusive canvas tented camp, located on a private concession in the Zambezi National Park. The camp overlooks a stunning stretch of the Zambezi River shoreline. The camp is named after the natural spring-line, Mpala Jena, which runs through the centre of the concession and attracts an abundance of wildlife throughout the year. The area is particularly famous for buffalo and elephant sightings as well as having fantastic birdlife. Mpala Jena is an environmentally innovative camp, constructed only of recycled hardwoods, canvas and powered by its solar farm. The four guest tents have fabulous views of the river and the interiors are Moroccan in style. Each tent has a lounge and en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. The decking in front of each tent leads to a private plunge pool.
The spacious luxury safari tents of Victoria Falls River Lodge are nestled on the banks of the mighty Zambezi, with an open plan design that has been positioned just back from the river – in view of the elephants’ natural evening route.
