Day 1-4
Seville, Spain
Seville gives Spain’s more famous cities a run for their money when it comes to the array of things to see and do but most of all, eat.
Begin your Andalucian adventure in Seville with three nights at Corral del Rey. Located down a side street, this hotel is a peaceful oasis, decked in pussy willow and Andalusian style. Spend your days in Seville exploring by foot with a specialist guide who can paint a brighter picture of the Plaza de Espana and Alcazar gardens. Savour the best tapas with the help of a local sommelier who knows every haunts speciality. Put on your dancing shoes for a flamenco lesson and let us arrange tickets to the best performances in town.
Day 4-7
Andalusian Countryside, Spain
Rarely a place that experiences bad weather, the sunny days are long and best spent exploring the sunflower fields or white towns that pierce the skyline.
Drive south into the countryside for three nights at Hacienda de San Rafael, an old riding lodge converted into a stylish yet comfortable hotel. Enjoy the food and service, and return to feel part of the family. The hotel acts as a great base to explore the surrounding area by foot, on horseback or with a guide to whisk you off to the best kept towns and villages. A day trip to Cordoba is a must, unearth its wealth of architecture and history. Don’t miss the city’s colourful patios in spring and summer, especially if you’re interested in the highly revered Spanish gardens.
Day 7-10
Marbella, Spain
Marbella’s Golden Mile flaunts sandy beaches, luxury resorts and golf courses with the Sierra Blanca Mountains as the backdrop and the Old Town within easy reach.
Finish your itinerary on the south coast in Marbella, where you’ll spend three nights at the famous Marbella Club. An establishment in itself, the hotel sits upon the beach with beautifully designed rooms and boasts one of the most wonderful kids clubs in the country. It’s easy to whittle away the days on the beach or even in the spa, however a day trip to the Alhambra in Granada is a must. With the best guide, this experience can detangle Spanish religion, architecture and culture in one go. Out at sea, fishing trips can also be arranged or laid back cruising if you’d prefer a siesta.
