Los Ponchos is a quaint hotel located just outside of El Calafate town, decorated with beautiful local art and hosted by friendly staff. It has comfortable and cosy rooms, a hearty breakfast and is located on the way to Perito Moreno glacier, which saves you a bit of journey time when visiting. Los Ponchos doesn’t have its own restaurnt, although it does cater well for people who would like to prepare some of their own meals or snacks, as some of the larger rooms have cooking facilities. Otherwise, a short taxi ride will have you at some of El Calafate’s best restuarants for your dinner.
