Day 1-3
Athens, Greece
A modern city dotted with 5th Century BC landmarks, Athens is a melting pot of old and new with an almost overwhelming amount to discover.
Begin your trip in Athens where you’ll spend two nights at Four Seasons Astir Palace. Located on the coastal peninsula of Vouliagmeni and behind a stretch of beach, this property offers everything that makes Greece a wonderful destination – historical sites, sea and sand. With Athens nearby, an afternoon trip to the Acropolis for a lesson in Greek mythology is a must. Within easy reach of the Temple of Poseidon, let a private guide paint a picture of the site’s context and importance as the sun sets over the sea.
Day 4-7
Mykonos, Greece
Famous for an astonishing variety of reasons, Mykonos continues to attract people for its sparkling sand beaches, glamorous nightlife and white washed villages.
Travel to Mykonos where you’ll spend three nights at Myconian Villa Collection. Leaning into a mountain, the Suites boast uninterrupted views of the Aegean – the real reason everyone flocks to this little island. Once you have settled in, spend an afternoon dipping in and out of the sea. On your first full day, take a private boat cruise around the island with Delos as your final destination. With a local, ride a Jeep across the island to discover less crowded beaches and learn more about the island’s history, before working up an appetite for your reservation at one of the island’s best beach clubs.
Day 7-9
Naxos, Greece
Away from the crowds, Naxos offers laid back luxury laden with local culture to experience fuelled by sensational gastronomy.
Embark on your first Greek ferry for a short journey to Naxos where you’ll spend two nights at the Naxian Collection. For the next couple of days, you’ll be tempted to spend your time lying on the beach for peace and quiet. If we can persuade you otherwise, we can arrange a gastronomic tour of the island. The island also boasts some wonderful hikes to take advantage of inland, and with your own guide you will hike trails that have been traversed on foot for hundreds of years.
Day 9-12
Santorini, Greece
Undoubtedly the most photographed of Greece’s hundreds of islands and rightly so, the volcanic island of Santorini is strikingly beautiful from land and sea.
Your final stop is Santorini, where you’ll spend three nights in a Suite at the Canaves Oia. Considered the most prestigious town on the island, many believe Oia is the best spot to watch the sunset. Enjoy day trips to surrounding islands, our favourite being Folegandros, a wonderful way to escape the tourists. Back on land, a spot of wine tasting on the caldera is a must for wine lovers. For your final day, hop aboard your own private cruise to swim in secluded spots before enjoying the breathtaking sunset from the water.
The Donnellys
We are just leaving the villa now to go to the hotel and I wanted to let you know that we have had the best week ever. I’m nearly crying leaving Angelina and Kimberly. We have never met kinder people who became part of our family for the week. They looked after us so so well and the kids adored them. Can we book again for next year? I can be happier leaving knowing that I will meet them again.
